After a few days of slacking off and pretending to study, I've arrived at this point. In a few days I'll be off to Borneo (an island south, maybe south-east of Vietnam), my first overseas trip. I am looking forward to it, hopefully to get me drawing again. At the same time, there's the usual list of potholes, but there's little use in over-thinking them. It's interesting to go far away, because when you return, you gain a better appreciation for the place you come from. That may not be a house; it could be a city, a group of people, even a whole state. But, in all this, never forgo the opportunity to go somewhere else and explore other ways

Waiting game

People seem to think long holidays are better. When you spend three months on break from uni, you begin to stagnate. Like an old potato. It's summer and it's usually too hot to do anything useful. A usual day consists of the Legend of Zelda, some Deus Ex, some drawing, a lot of lounging. As odd as it may sound, I somewhat look forward to returning to uni just to have some work to do.
